Top Four Tuesday

Hey guys today I’m gonna be talking about book to movie adaptations. I have to say I havent seen a lot of them but I’m gonna try my best.

  1. Love Simon — Simon vs the Homo Sapiens Agenda by Becky Albertalli

download (10)

I LOVED this movie. I think this is a great example of an amazing book to movie adaptation. They did change a few things which bothered me a bit. But still you have to cut some things when you make a movie.

*SPOILERS*

When I read the book I was 100% percent sure that Leah never liked Simon. But I saw the movie and was immediately confused. I then read Leah On the Offbeat and it might hint that she did like him. Anyway I’m really confuse if in anyone  knows what happened there please let me know in the comments.

*OVER*

Anyway all in all I loved the movie. It even had some P!ATD and Harry Potter refences in there which I loved.

2. To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before by Jenny Han

download (11)

I was very excited for this movie. I watched it once and didn’t like it, I then re-watched it and fell in love. I have to say I enjoyed the book way more. I felt the book was very good it wasnt just another typical girl falls in love story. It still was, but there were all the other themes like coming of age and how she managed without a mother. Which the movie tried to show but in the end it very centered around the love story which makes sense cause in the end that’s what it’s about. I still loved it

3. Harry Potter (1-7) by J.K Rowling

download (12)

I could’t do this without mentioning Harry Potter. Technically it should be first or second but whatever, I love the Harry Potter movies. I think they really try to include everything and I loved that. I did not like that they made characters like Ginny very basic but they tried their best. My favourite movie has to be the 4th one. I don’t know why, but  yeah I think this one is pretty self explanatory.

4. The Book Theif by Markus Zusak

download (13)

I LOVE THIS BOOK. This book got me into reading. I think its amazing and If you havent read it (WELL… READ ITT!). I saw the movie a while ago but by what I remember I really liked it. It captured the nostalgia and sadness of this story. I don’t want to say more because of spoilers but I was left in tears.

And that completes Top Four Tuesday. I hope you liked my selection. There are many other good book to movie adaptations. and as I said I havent read/watched them all. What is your favourite book to movie adoption?

This a young-adult fantasy/mystery series based around sisterhood and kingdoms, it’s giving me a bit of a Agatha Christie vibe which im totally down for cause I love mystery. I wont post the whole summary here but you can always go check it out on goodreads.

3. Wildcard by Marie Lu

OH.MY.GOD. I’m really excited for this book, I actually just read Warcross and it blew my mind. I do have to say that it was a bit predictable but the whole concept was amazing. Again I wont put the synopsis for spoilers. But this a science-fiction/virtual-reality book and if you like those genres the I really think you should read it.

4. Vengeance by Victoria Schwab

AFGMHDMHTDMRM!!! I cannot wait for this book to be released, I’m literally counting down the days (16-17 days left) btw (*depends when i post this). Sadly they didn’t give out any ARCs for Vengeance so I couldn’t find a picture but this is the first book, Vicious which if you haven’t read you should go read it. NoW. Go to your closest bookstore buy the book and read it!!!! Again I wont say the synopsis but its a adult-paranormal-fantasy. Also if you have read any of Victoria Schwab books please let me know in the comments.

So those are all my September releases if you have a book that you’re excited for , that  that I didn’t put on my list and comes out in September please let me know in the comments or if there’s any new releases that come out later that you’re excited for, also leave me a comment down below.

For this month I have quite a small TBR

  1. Sea witch by Sarah Henning
  2. The Astonishing Colour of After by Emily X.R Pan
  3. The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern
  4. Daughter of the Burning City by Amanda Foody
  5. The Loneliest Girl in the Universe by Lauren James
  6. The Last of August (audiobook) by brittany Cavallaro

Blog post ideas.jpeg

Ok so some of you might be thinking that 7 books is not a small tbr. Well, that’s true but when it comes to choosing my  TBR  for the month , I’m always  kinda stuck because im a mood reader. If you don’t know what that means basically I’ll be reading a book and I have 50 pages left so I pick my next read. Lets say I decide to read some Fantasy , the following  day I’ll finish the book that I was reading but because of whatever reason I suddenly don’t feel like reading fantasy , I want to read fiction so I keep changing books. That’s why i need a TBR with options so that I don’t choose something else and totally get off track.

Anyway I’ve heard great reviews for these books so I really hope i like them. So that’s my September tbr whats on yours? let me know down in the comments
