Audiobooks do you like them yes? or no?

Personally yes I love audiobooks , I think that they are a great way to get into more books that you don’t own or just don’t feel like physically reading . Some people don’t like audiobooks because of the  narration or because of the price. True these are all valid points but for the narrators…yes there are bad narrators. But most of them are pretty good but some are 100% for sure  better than others.

For the price issue I actually think this is a big problem because not every library has audiobooks. You can either get them though your local library with an app called Overdrive, If you just want to try audiobooks you can always get free trials with Audible, Scribd and I think Ibooks. I’ve tried all of these options and I think Scribd is  the best for me, It offers free ebooks and free audiobooks for only 11$ a month. Which is pretty cheap for audiobooks.

How did I get into Audiobooks?

Thats actually a funny story cause my friend had been listening to audiobooks for the longest of time but I never really tought about it myself until 2 years later when I started Bookstagram and I saw all these people listening to audiobooks and it gave me the idea to start listening to them. So I asked around and found a few apps and now I listen to audiobooks almost every day.

BEST AUDIOBOOKS

  1. Harry Potter

HarryImage result for harry potter audiobooky Potter is actually the first audiobook I ever listened too. I hadn’t read the series in a looonggg time and I didn’t own the books so I came up with this.

 

The narrator for this book is amazing he expresses all the characters beautify really recommend this audiobook. 5/5

 

 

2.  Every Heart a Doorway by Seanan McGuire

I really liked this book. I had just seen it in one of my favourite booktubers video recommending it, and I saw it so like why not? Well I loved it also it had great LGBTQ+ representation which is always a bonus

5/5 Love the narration totally recommend.

 

 

 

3. The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern

I’m currently reading this book and I’m loving the audiobook. I was getting a bit bored with the book so I tried this and loved it.

It’s the same narrator as HP so just check out his stuff (Jim Dale). I love the flair of magic in the story and the whimsical-ness. 5/5

 

4. The Raven Boys by Maggie Steifvater

I Love this series I find its so cute but love the paranormal theme going on. I only read this book. I have to read the rest of the series but still love it.

Many people have different opinions on this audiobook. Cause its spoken with a southern accent wich I love cause its real and that’s wear it takes place. At first I didn’t really like it but In in the end I loved this audiobook. 4/5

September New Releases

So today I’m gonna talk about NEW RELEASES! If you can’t tell I love new releases so since there are a lot this year. I’m just gonna give my September new releases for now.

  1. Two Dark Reigns by Kendrake Blake

If you follow my blog then you know that actually haven’t read this series but somehow I’m still excited for this new release. Most probably because I really want to read it.

2. Rule by Ellen Goodlett

This a young-adult fantasy/mystery series based around sisterhood and kingdoms, it’s giving me a bit of a Agatha Christie vibe which im totally down for cause I love mystery. I wont post the whole summary here but you can always go check it out on goodreads.

3. Wildcard by Marie Lu

OH.MY.GOD. I’m really excited for this book, I actually just read Warcross and it blew my mind. I do have to say that it was a bit predictable but the whole concept was amazing. Again I wont put the synopsis for spoilers. But this a science-fiction/virtual-reality book and if you like those genres the I really think you should read it.

4. Vengeance by Victoria Schwab

AFGMHDMHTDMRM!!! I cannot wait for this book to be released, I’m literally counting down the days (16-17 days left) btw (*depends when i post this). Sadly they didn’t give out any ARCs for Vengeance so I couldn’t find a picture but this is the first book, Vicious which if you haven’t read you should go read it. NoW. Go to your closest bookstore buy the book and read it!!!! Again I wont say the synopsis but its a adult-paranormal-fantasy. Also if you have read any of Victoria Schwab books please let me know in the comments.

My favourite trilogies

Today’s post is all about trilogies

I think when it comes to trilogies either you like or you don’t. I personally like them, If the authors plans them correctly  they can be great  but if they drag on the plot or aren’t interesting then they kinda suck. I like trilogies because they’re longer then duology’s but you don’t have to go to the trouble to reading a whole series of 4+ books.

I have to say I don’t own that many trilogies and my favourites have to be…

  1. Ace of Shades (5/5)
  2. Truly Devious (5/5)
  3. To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before (4.5/5)
  4. Illuminae (4/5)
  5. The Grisha Trilogy (4/5)
  6. Cinder (3.5/5)

I haven’t finish all  three books in most of these but that’s because most of them are only gonna be out in 2019. But I highly recommend them especially “Ace of Shades” and “Truly Devious” they are both amazing books that i highly reccomend!!!

I havent read a lot of trilogy’s but I do have a lot of them on my tbr, here are my top five…

  1. Daughter of smoke and bone; I’ve heard about this book everywhere and I really want to read it
  2. And I darken; I have been dYiNg to read this series its historical fiction which is one of my favourite genres so i already  think im gonna love it.
  3. Divergent; Ok yes I havent read this series and everyone tells me i need to read it and i KNOW but i just keep forgetting hopefully i’ll read it soon
  4. Three dark crown; So I actually have this book , I bought it a long time ago and it’s just always there staring at me but of course I get distracted with other books and never pick it up.
  5. Legend; This is a trilogy is by Marie lu I have read her most recent books (warcross etc.) and i found it really interesting.

So  those are my Top 6 trilogy’s and Top 5 trilogys on my tbr. As I said before i haven’t read lots of trilogys but that’s what I thought of them. I hope you guys like this post. If you have ay post suggestions please let me know.
